Lamb Chop

Post by phtnt »

Did anybody watch Lamb Chop with their kids?
Remember this song?

This is the song that never ends, It just goes on and on my friends. Some people started singing it, not knowing what it was and they'll continue singing it for ever just because, It is the song that never ends, It just goes on and on my friends. It was a childrens show that I used to watch with my daughter. Lamb Chop was a puppet. Shari Lewis was the woman.

Lamb Chop was what my ex b/friend used to call me as a nickname (it is an endearing term out here :) )

To bad the song lasted longer than Shari Lewis. (my first Keet watched that all the time, can't get #2 & 3 to turn on PBS, ever)

Here is my Lambchop (true) story:
Once upon a time, my coworkers and I were looking for ways to entertain ourselves. It so happened that the warehouse where we worked was cleaning out a bunch of stuff, and there were dozen of mini Lambchop hand puppets around. We ALL got one. Then we wondered what we could actually DO with all these little Lambchops. So then some wacky worker (yours truly? YES! ) got the idea of taking Lambchop on lots of adventures. So we all took pictures of our Lambchop in various situations. Lambchop getting his nails done. Lambchop riding a horse. Lambchop "helping" the security guard. Lambchop answering the phone. Lambchop having a conference with a Vice President of the company. We're talking DOZENS of Lambchop photos, here. 8)

We put all the pics together and made a photo album. The album became a GUARANTEED "picker upper" when we needed a good chuckle. And it was soooooooooo fun to tell "new" people in the group how the album came to be. I still have my Lambchop, packed up and waiting for new adventures where ever my next career ends up being....

Wow I so watched that show when I was younger. The donkey was awesome! :pirate: They need to bring stuff like that back. They brought ALF back on TV Land on a few late night occassions lately..that's really exciting. ALF is huge in Germany, bring him back. No new episodes...but who cares.
All I need are some tasty waves, a cool buzz & i'm fine
