Radio releases...

Post by Pascagoula Runner »

Anyone care to guess what the prospective single releases might be??? I'm thinking...

1) HGL (obviously)
2) B2B (like it more each time I hear it)
3) L2C (late-nineties pop country, but fun and decent)
4) CoC (Come Monday- a "week" later, with some Love in the Library
chord progressions)
5) PoW (Jimmy and Toby doing Hank JR- I like it)
6) TATS (Just because of Martina)
7) SoH (Just because of George)
8) CT (could this be another Pascagoula Run...Awwww Yeeaaahh)

I'm sure they won't all be released, but what the hell...

It seems like Coast of Carolina is a big favorite, and I would be surprised if that doesnt get some airplay.

It will be interesting to see if they release a "solo" Jimmy song from the CD, like CoC, or if they choose to continue with the collaborations.
I would much rather have them release Coast of Carolina but since JB is still new to many country fans, the safe bet is to go with a duet, and I really think that SoH is a perfect fit for country radio - a song that returns to country roots with one of country's favorite sons in George Strait.
They may want to capitalize on Martina McBride's popularity right now though.
It will be interesting to see how the radio people think - I have never been able to figure them out...

I think it will be License to Chill, because if my my info is mistaken they have already filmed a video for it with the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Girls. That is why they had an advance copy of the song with the swimsuit edition this year.
