As a whole I like the new album a lot. Kudos to Mac and Utley for the production. One of the better produced Buffett albums in a while.
I completely agree - that's what I thought of theh first time I listened to this song...not one of my favorites - but I still love the album overall!

IMHO i think that buffett's best writing may have been in the 70s, but everyday I find some new little quote that has tons of meaning from one of his songs from the 90s / 2000s. . . . its really interesting . . . . . also I think the production value has been better lately (i.e. the 90s and 2000s)
Beach House on the Moon was a great album 8) Aside from that, his best writing does go back to the 70's.

As for my opinion on LTC, the album is growing on me. I still despise "Hey Good Looking", but the rest of the album is decent, with a few songs sticking out. Not even in the top 10 of his albums, but it's pretty good
