They sold Sol in the grocery stores in SW Florida. I just really don't like Mexican beers.

Guinness, hands down.

I also enjoy Stella when I'm across the pond.

We went to see "A Streetcar Named Desire" is London a couple years ago. I couldn't resist ordering a STELLLAA at intermission. The Brits were not amused, but the other Americans in the bunch got a kick out of it. :D

Weinhard's Red
Heileman's Black X
Rogue River's Shakespeare Stout
Aass Juleol (the traditional Norske Christmas beer) and Bock
Stop the press, does Weinhard's still make the Red :o . I lived in Cali for 2 years and they were distributing it less and less. I am going there in 4 weeks, I will be looking for it. That's great stuff, along with the wildberry.
My whole world lies waiting behind DOOR #3! In the meantime, I am just sippin' on a margarita.........

Thought they did.. but it has been 4 years since I was out there. Could find it on the shelves in Seattle at the Safeways, but it has been a while since I was able to look.

Summer: Corona(and at any JB outing of course) and Sam Adams Summer Ale
OMG ... somebody else will actually admit to Cherry Wheat --- I prefer to call it a "dessert beer" ... I like it, just too sweet to drink heavily though

But usually just Corona Lite (yeah, I know ~ how stereo-typical)

Not much in to dark beers... just dark liquors :pirate:

Yuengling Black and Tan is definitely some of the best Tampa Bay beer I've ever had.

Everyone here does know never to order a Black and Tan at an Irish bar, right? A real Irish bar will only serve you a half and half.

Because there is a bad association with the name Black and Tan.

Some history:

The Black and Tans is the nickname of a special auxiliary force of the Royal Irish Constabulary formed from British ex-soldiers on 2 January 1920 and in action in Ireland March 1920–December 1921. They were employed by the British government to combat the killing of policemen by the Irish Republican Army (IRA), the military wing of the Irish nationalist Sinn Fein government, during the Anglo-Irish War, or War of Independence (1919–21). The name derives from the colours of their improvised khaki and black uniforms, and was also the name of a famous pack of hounds.

The Black and Tans acquired a reputation for violent reprisals against the civilian population after IRA attacks. The peak of Black and Tan retribution is traditionally Bloody Sunday, 1920. On 21 November, after the IRA assassinated 13 men in Dublin, mainly British intelligence officers, the Black and Tans fired on a crowd at a Gaelic football match in Croke Park, killing 12 onlookers.

I've had Yuengling a couple of times and I really like it but I can't find it at my local beer distributor. Whenever I visit my friend in Pennsylvania I always bring him a case of Red Stripe, it's about $10 cheaper on LI. I'd trade him for a case of Yuengling but I hardly ever drink at home. It would probably take me about 6 months to finish a case of beer.

Dogfish Head I.P.A. (Indian Pale Ale) is the BEST. At seven dollars per 12oz bottle it's worth every cent. With the 21% ABV 120 IBU all you need is half the bottle to get you going. It's boiled for 2 hours while being hopped and then it's hopped daily and fermented for a month. If you can find it try it. Anyone in Orange County can find at High Times Cellar in Costa Mesa.
