Had some very dark, very strong beer in Antwerp, Belgium one time but I can't remember the name. Come to think of it, I'm lucky I can even remember Belgium!

I am not a big beer drinker yet, but I do enjoy Fat Tire and Warsteiner's Heffeveisen (sp)

Fat Tire is kind of my house brew.

I've never been much of a dark beer person.
I like Shiner Bock. Can you get that outside of Texas now?
I was in Belgium for a summer a few years ago and took a liking to Stella Artois there.

When I was in Santa Fe, NM back in '95 I had Rio Grande Outlaw Lager and I thought it was great. Haven't been able to find it anywhere in NY.

If they distributed it in Indiana, it would probably be my house brew as well. I tried one from somewhere (one of the Cost Plus cases), I think it was Tire Bite that was really good too. Although not as good as vanilla rum and cream soda.

I'll watch for it. If I find it I will send you some. We have a good selection out here.

There used to be a place called the Commonwealth Brewing Company right next to the Today Show studio in Rockefeller Plaza. They made their own brews and they had a terrific dark red ale but the place closed 3 years ago. It's a Pokemon store now.

What is this world coming to?

One of my favorite dark beers (if you consider it a dark beer) is Lancaster Milk Stout. It is made with lactose sugar so it has a sweet taste.
One of my favorite summer beers is Harpoon ESB. Words can't describe how good this beer tastes at a cookout.
For flip-cup, beer pong, Baltimore Ravens/Maryland Terps tailgating, its simply Miller Lite.
Oh yeah and a Corona anytime will work!!!
