Are we talking stop signs or lights or both? Stop signs included, i've got 21 going one way, and only 9 going the other way, but the amount of traffic on the highway makes it not worthwhile to take that way.

I have one stop light a few miles down the road from me... So two with my total commute... I'm on backroads and highway most of my ride... Thanks goodness b/c my round trip is about 140 every day!

the lights here change to red one block ahead just as yours turns green
the old mayor sure got that no nipple showing in bars law past.

I have none! I walk to work.
I sometimes have to wait to cross the road for cars - but there is not a lot of traffic around when I am walking.

If I dont get a hot drink on the way and therefore walk over the railway bridge, I do sometimes have to wait for a train as I would over the train tracks - so the lights there get me..

others - a nice leisurely walk through the park and down my street

I have 13 but my commute is still 1 hour dispite starting my new job to try to get closer in. Though the new job cut down my old driving time by 1/2 hour! ....how long does it take for everyone to get to work!

If I drive 2 minutes. .. walking 15 - 20 minutes

If I take my wife to work then go to my work, it's 7 red lights and 5 stop signs. And a 15 min. drive

If I go straight to work, it's 6 stop signs only. And a 8-10 min drive

Uh..the island is only 13 miles long, and 2 miles wide...

Not working right now..But it took 6 minutes when I was...I have been here 17 yrs now, and the locals all gripe about the traffic since we got "discovered"...yes, I am guilty of it too...but I remember back in Charleston..12 mile drive...and it took an hour or better to get there...

We've only got two in my town and they're within a block of each other... gotta love small towns.. no traffic headaches.. Unless of course you consider the cow or two in the road...

On a good day an hour and 10... don't even ask on a bad day...

My commute is different than most. It takes me 15 mins to get from my house to the train station, 35 minute train ride into Manhattan and 15 mins on the subway or cab. It goes quick though as i can read the paper, sleep, etc.

15. One of which is just stupid. I'm on a major road, and the light is at a country cross-road that gets no traffic. EVER. Yet it is the longest red on the trip!
