Well, y'all should be happy then that the Americans are doing so well!
For the record, I'm a football fan as well but live in the moment and there's more exciting cycling going on than football.
. . . . and I found great humor in the list . . . .

I'm not into golf, so I usually don't watch any of either one.
Cool list though!
BTW--LIPH- The Ace has a monthly trivia game. One of the picture rounds was a "Name that team"- Only instead of uniforms, it was the cheerleaders! And our sports expert is female, so we pretty much tanked on that one!

Coco --
The firm has a "summer outing" every year and 2 years ago they rented the ESPNZone restaurant in Times Square. I was sitting at the bar with a couple of my co-workers talking sports and the bartender, thinking he was an expert, decided he wanted to play sports trivia with us. After I got the first 10 questions right he gave up. I'm full of useless information. Among other things.

We do trivia also almost every tuesday down in the village. Good Times. I am the teams sports expert so I'm sure we would've done fine on the cheerleaders questions.Coconuts wrote:I'm not into golf, so I usually don't watch any of either one.

It seems like a lot of parrotheads are trivia buffs. The place I play aspires to be a dive bar, and gets really crowded on Trivia Nite (and it is just regular players that are the quizmasters, not NTN or anything high tech- the answer sheets are half sheets of notebook paper). This bar feels like Cheers to me.
