LTC is #1 Album according to Billboard

Post by Demerara »

I guess this doesn't surprise us, from Billboard, "Buffett Notches First No. 1 Album"
http://www.billboard.com/bb/daily/artic ... 1000581567

Congrats, Jimmy! Maybe it is the biggest album of his career, huh?

I should mention that's the Billboard 200 Album chart -- not "just" the Country chart! First week U.S. sales of 234,000 copies (I guess us "foreigners" don't count. :D )

Is there a way to tell if LTC also caused a spike in Jimmy's other CDs?

My biggest fear is that when I die, my wife will sell all my Buffett stuff for what I said I paid for it!

SYKBH was up 34% from 6074 to 8159. It's # 11 on the Pop Catalog charts. That's the only catalog title charting, though I would imagine most saw some increase.

I'd be excited to move 8000 units of my old releases PERIOD, nevermind in one week several years after it came out...

You mean there are 4 other Jimmy Buffett's in the world? That's amazing! With 5 Jimmy's to go around, maybe in the future we can have five different concerts on the same night in different ciites! :D
