This is crazy
This all started from a thread I made addressing rednekk with a question concerning his insults to my religion. (and i didn't do it preachy for the record....i'm the last friggin person who needs to preach....however i do get philisophical/religious when i'm drunk!) Anyways, I realized after the fact that it would have better been handled with a PM, and I apologized to him, and explained that i respect his rights to post, etc. The only response I got from him was "f**k you and crucifix you rode in on" I can't say I was shocked by that response, disappointed sure, but hey....its not worth losing sleep over. Thats rednekk. If people want to go off topic, make crazy comments...thats cool too. As someone mentioned earlier...this is a Buffett site...we're supposed to be stupid.
Furthermore, I feel like we should be able to post anything we want, without having people judge what is and isn't appropriate. I know that isn't possible because that would mean the moderators would be out of a job
In the end...this just isn't our "sandbox" as I think someone put it.
I just asked if someone could refrain from a certain commment, and they chose not to. They certainly dont have to do it...evident by the response I got. I'm glad...its a free country.
And last, this bashing of pepole whenever they post, and making comments just to incite disagreement is sad and stupid. I've seen this advice given before..."if you dont like the poster, dont read what they post. Or if you read a post and dont like it....ignore it" JUST MOVE ON. Its not that hard. Do you actually think you are going to change anything by exerting your two cents for everyone to see in a disrespectful way? I have no problem with Jahfin and his posts for music articles or anything else he shares with us, he has a lot of information. This is the friggin off topic area...its supposed to be random stuff. His postings about music is no different than if i decided to post about lint in my belly button! If you dont like him...dont read the dang posts! On the flipside, I have no problem with those who are against him, such as Tomcat and Rednekk, or whoever else. It sucks there has to be so much arguing, but thats just the way it is on this board. They can say whatever they want. (even if tomcat is a mean old man! haha) Are there cliques on this board? Yes. Do they make some people feel left out? Yes. Thats just the way social things work, nothin can be done about it I think overall, this is a very friendly board. I've been here a long time...just haven't posted that much. Sorry this is so long....It kind of sucks, because i'm sure its going to get edited or deleted after I took so long writing it!
Maybe I'm aggravated because I can't pick on Rednekk's beliefs because he cant make a commitment to one!! haha. j/k I have no hard feelings rednekk...its just not worth it, man. I would buy you a beer anytime
But when you're throwing up drunk and hungover...who are you swearing to that you'll never do it again? just pickin.
