SuperTrooper wrote:Look in your yellow pages to see if any plumbing or remodeling contractors carry BATHFITTER products. It covers the tub and has matching shower walls and accessories. Sadly, they must be installed by a contractor.

There must be "Home Shows" in your area that feature home improvements. You can usually find displays there. I found a brief listing for a "Denver Re-Modeling Show" in September (sorry, no details included).

In January is the "Colorado Garden & Home Show" at the Colorado Convention Center. http://www.gardeningcolorado.com/cghs/cghsdef.htm Their 2005 exhibitor list shows a Bathfitter contractor.
Thanks ST! As a long-time renter, I'm truly lost when it comes to these kinds of things.

Go for bamboo flooring instead of carpet! It's beautiful, durable and environmentally friendlier, and pretty easy to install yourself, I think.
Never heard of bamboo flooring. Got any good links?

I had a friend that bought a house and the fixtures in the bathroom were PURPLE!
And when the sink cracked, they couldn't replace it because no one made that color anymore...what a shock
Last I knew, the sink was white and the rest of the fixtures were still purple!

So, blue isn't so bad

ReBath is the same concept as BathFitter. I like their designs better, but that could've just been the selections that were featured at the show (the company I work is sort of a referral service in reverse- homeowners pay for it and recommend companies to us, then we give out those names to people who need them. But we're not in Denver yet- probably 2005 or 2006). Here's the website for your ReBath dealer: http://www.coloradorebath.com/

I don't know of any local suppliers offhand, but a google search on bamboo flooring brough up 20 good matches on the first page.

my brother moved into a home with a lovely green bathtub...it is now white...he used some sort of product that you just paint on...forget what it is called, but I will find out later and post...it looks beautiful...was easy to do...and inexpensive
