Battery powered? Hmmm...I saw one at a show a few weeks ago that was powered by a weed-wacker. Of course, I was drunk  ...but I'm pretty sure it was a weed-wacker.

You can get a power inverter that plugs into your car cig lighter for around $20-$40 and just plug your home blender into that. It's a lot cheaper, especially if you're thinking about buying the "portable blender" from margaritaville.com.

I thought the same thing, the surge of the blender is too much for the converter. Blew every fuse that someone let me try.

Try these:

And my favorite if for nothing more than the handlebars...

Ya, that's what we do! It works very well...although make sure you have buy a power inverter with enough voltage to run the blender you have or it could blow a fuse!

I did find a little tiny blender at Walmart..it's a hamilton beach...and it works VERY well. The top part becomes a "to go" cup. It's pretty nifty

I don't know about a blender, but, if you head to

www.labattblue.com/

you can get a ATV-Remote control cooler (is that not the coolest thing in the world!)

plus - a beer dispensing chair (AS SEEN ON TV)

If you don't mind used, I saw a nice one on eBay. Black & Decker Partymate.

And there's always The Tailgator gas-powered blender!

Make sure that the inverter is powerful enough to handle a blender, though. This year at Alpine, I ran a TV and DVD player in the parking lot showing Jimmy videos. THe same inverter can't handle a blender.

I bought one at Target last year...it was in their camping section. Cost less than $20....I can't recall the mnfr, though.

The thing works like a champ...plugs right into to the cigarette lighter and makes a killer margarita.

I bought the same one, and love it. It works wonderfully - better actually than the one I have at home. A quick search on Target.com didn't show it, though - maybe they don't carry it anymore

I'm fairly sure most of the merchandise Target carries isn't on their website.
