Ok, boys and girls.. hopefully this little reminder of the board and PHJim's rules will help many of us.. PLEASE!!!! Right click over your avatar... go to properties... and check the dimensions. If it's more than 140 x 140 ? The pic you've chosen needs to be resized. Or you need to chose a thumbnail size, rather than a full size pic. Purty please??? Those of us with small monitors or laptops? It makes us have to scroll to the right just to read the posts.
THANKS VERY MUCH!!!

2. Click on "Profile" near the top of the page
3. Near the bottom of the Profile page find the "Avatar control panel" section. In the field "Link to off-site Avatar:" , enter the URL address of the picture you want to link to. You should include the name of the gif or jpg file. Your avatar size should not exceed 140 x 140 pixels.

Just a kind reminder to our "Newbie" friends to the site.. if your avatar is too big?? It makes people have to scroll to the right in order to read the posts.
THANKS!!!!!!

Thanks for the reminder. Let me know if LADYPARROTHEAD's is too big and I'll fix it too. since I created her license plate, I'll be the one that has to make it smaller. OH! That's part of her signature. DOES THAT MATTER?

Thank you, Bill!! That sure helps a lot of pholks be able to read the posts!
Size doesn't matter, silly. Ohhhh, you mean the sig line? While you don't want to take up an entire page, the sig line pics are really limited in size like the avatar's are.

True, there are many who still have avatars that are far beyond 140 x 140 that cause me to scroll left in threads to be able to read all of the text in posts. I have asked a few people very nicely in threads to resize their avatars but I guess they didn't read my posts (or this thread!).
