You're just lucky I like you well enough not to use my usual response to that on you!LIPH wrote:Where have I heard that before?Coconuts wrote:She has a good personality . . .LIPH wrote:Although it's about the ugliest damn cat I've ever seen so that might bump it up from G to PG.

My take on a couple clips from the review LIPH provided earlier...
"For sheer sonic pain, no explosion, drill or alarm rivals the sound of 16,000 8-year-old girls shrieking at the top of their lungs."
I hear ya! (well, through the ringing
) Only in my case I think it was 18,000 screaming mimi's! OUCH!
"From the moment the 16-year-old Kewpie-doll-of-a-star bounced onto the stage..."
Good description!
"Duff opened with a new song, "Girl Can Rock." And even though she can't, she did display a cotton candy voice that appeals to the sweetest of fans. The songs she performed were as sugary as 10 bowls of Fruity Pebbles, despite their attempts at faux rock riffs and Duff's stabs at spunky self-assertion."
Faux or no, the show included some serious rock riffs! I kept thinking I was at a Kiss concert! Only, I shouldn't try and describe a Kiss concert if I've never seen one!
I thought it was a great show! My eyes welled up with tears
on a few occasions just from watching my keets' reactions. My youngest Fribbled out late in the show (I have no idea how she could doze off under those conditions, I guess I have a comfy lap) but bounced back for the encore of "Our lips are sealed".
After the show, we just missed the Duff girls heading outside according to eywitnesses at the scene. (forgive me, I'm amusing myself in my exhausted state) The parking lot was at a standstill for a while, and I noticed a police car escorted the 2 decked out RV's out of the lot while they stopped traffic. It probably took us another 10 minutes to get out on the highway, but the speedster I am caught up with them en route to their show in Milwaukee Saturday night. The dork that I am pulled up alongside them honking while the girls waved. I can't confirm a celebrity siting, but I had fun doing it and both drivers laughed and waved. If I didn't have to drop my niece off, I would have followed them until they stopped (Milwaukee's only 45 minutes north of my house at night) because that is the stalker I am!
My only regret is not trying to get backstage... it's always fun trying, and I made us up some Most Wanted Tour badges!

I'm so perceptive!
While looking at HilaryDuff.com, I found the "band" page with info... see what I wrote, and the bio on the guitarist!
Originally born and raised in Toronto, Canada, took an early interest in music at the age of 6. When his mother took notice, he was entered in violin and piano lessons. Jason soon discovered the rock band “KISS”, and his love for rock and roll was sparked. In high school, he joined the band ‘21 Gunns’ and experienced his first taste of Canadian touring. Eventually the band landed a recording contract with the infamous Elektra Records which is based out of New York. In 2003 Jason has co-hosted an episode of MTV’s “Becoming” and joined the Vince Neil (Motley Crue) band. Currently, Jason has signed on as the guitar player for the multi platinum recording artist Hilary Duff, proving that dedication is the key to success.
