Thought this was sorta interesting. Freddy Fender has a new cd coming out called 'Closer To The Heart' and the first track is 'Margaritaville'.

hmmmm....freddie will be appearing at the santa clara county fair in san jose, ca next week.

I bought the CD today.....I think it's great....
Margaritaville makes you laugh....
It sounds like he recorded it live in the studio, so it has a really good sound.
My favorite part is where Freddy sings...."I've got tequila in the blender, and it's all for Freddy Fender!"
It's worth checking out!!!

Interesting....I'll be interested in hearing what everyone has to say about it.
Side thought: if you post this on BuffettNews, shouldn't it be spelled "PHreddy PHender?" (tee hee hee!)

kewl thanks I really had no clue but I am familiar with those two hit songs they mention.
