Is that the date that tix go on sale for the 10/16 show, the 10/23 sho or both? Hopefully both shows don't go on sale at the same time or it will be a nightmare.

I don't even wanna ask, but...
Does everyone think this years Vegas pricing will fall in line with recent years (ie. ridiculously expensive)?
I only ask because it is the sole factor dictating if I see Jimmy this year or not.

I hope this is all the more they are...if you look at the last few years, they've jumped up about $25 a year...I used to think $125 for floor seats was a lot until I paid $175 then $200...
the only thing we have going for us is that with 2 shows, there may not be demand for prices much higher than the 65,100,200 prices

In 2002 when he did 2 shows over Memorial Day weekend the cheapest tickets were $75. I think floor seats were $250.

And there were tickets available at the MGM box office the day of the show.

the highest prices that weekend were $150...still got the stubs on the fridge...wife and I got a pair for each show, Saturday and Sunday...granted it was a ton of fun, with fees and charges it was close to $350 a pair...$700 bones for 2 shows
but as they say,
Suite at the MGM - too much
Cash for gambling - we won't go there
Concert tickets - $700
Seeing buffett the weekend of your birthday on back-to-back nights in Vegas within the first 15 rows each night, PRICELESS...

I wonder how much I will need to gamble at MGM to get comp tickets?

enough that you wouldn't care what tickets prices were if you were willing to play that much
it is alway a trip to see the people in the first few rows that got comped by different casinos to see the shows...many of them get the deer in the headlight look and are looking around wondering what is going on....too bad they are 'wasting' a seat many of us would love to have...

At MGM you'd probably have to average $350/hr at the tables to get cheap seats. A little less if you gamble midweek and are bold enough to ask outright for them.

I actually just called the 877 number and spoke to Debbie... She said that they haven't even confirmed that he is going to be there yet and that she has no other information.

I heard tonite that our club seats will be $125 (used to be $100 last show)...so I'm guessing the floor seats will probably go for $250 this time around. You'll just have to win more at the blackjack tables to cover your ticket!

That's not so bad. I figure I'm going to gamble anyway, I might as well get something for it.
