Seriously now. The poll numbers for John Kerry are expected to jump 8-10% following the Democratic National Convention! Why? Are 8-10% of the people actually stupid enough to change their vote just because they watched a pep rally with balloons and confetti?
Now don't take this wrong. I'm not saying that people should or shouldn't vote for John Kerry, this isn't an anti-Kerry post, just an anti-idiot post! It boggles my mind how simple-minded voters are and how they will change their vote just because of a bunch of fanfare!
I'm all for the right to vote, but jeez, sometime I really wonder...

I'm sure Bush's numbers will jump after the RNC, also. Only because all this hoopla for the convention has made him fresh in people's minds.

That only shows what short attention spans most people have.
