Eat me buttpipe!
My boys made the playoffs last year with Quincy Carter at QB and Troy Hambrick (who?) at RB! You're telling me that Vinny Testaverde and Eddie George (even at their ages) aren't going to do better? And under Parcells, Keyshawn is very likely to return to pro bowl form.
So, what else ya got?

Why hasn't Larry answered my question? Must be cause he knows I'm right!

If the Ravens offense improves 25% then I am looking at a Super Bowl trip or at least an AFC championship game this year.
Defense is still awesome.
Offense...not going anywhere with this offense. Lewis was great last year, but of all the 2000 yard rushers in NFL history, only one (Barry Sanders) even topped 1200 the next year! They wear themselves out. So your running game won't be as good. I have faith that your QB will be good someday, but not yet, and the recieving core is below average.

Eddie George hasn't averaged more than 3.3 yards in 4 years! Vinny...do you really want an answer to THAT one?
Keep in mind THIS YEAR you won't be playing against a schedule with the opposing win % of .342!!!!!

I love my JAGS!!! Living in Titan territory, that makes me an outcast

BIGTIME! My hubby is a Dolphins freak...with or without Ricky Williams.

I lost love for the fish when my Danny Boy retired. Marino kicked butt...not to mention his looked nice doing so.

I say, one day, I'll give up on the Jaguars and go back to my first love, Tampa Bucs!!! They have Keenan anyhow. And since Mark Burnell, Tony Boselli, and Keenan McCardell are gone, what's left??? I'll stick with my cats and hope and pray they do SOMETHING this year!

It'll be a couple years, but this is a team ready to improve....Leftwich is the real deal.

Me, I have 2 favorite teams....
In the AFC, I love my Chargers. 'Nuff said.
NFC, I'm a Packer fan! I think this team has an honest chance. I have a few reasons for saying this, but primarily it is consistancy. THis team struggled early last year, but was one of the best in football late in the year. That team is returning 21 starters (22 if Mike McKenzie would stop being such an idiot!), and it's kicker. They improved the punter, and the depth of the team. Most key reserves are back. If they can stay healthy, they could be right there in January. Pro-Bowl talent at QB and RB, one of the best offensive lines in football. The team still has issues, as does every team, but not that many!

Testaverde has been in the NFL for what, 18 years? He's had 2 or 3 good years, only came close to winning a championship once and he's
42 YEARS OLD. Eddie George and his 3 yards/carry is over the hill. The only pro bowl form Meshawn Johnson will return to is pro bowl whiner when they don't throw the ball to him often enough. The Eagles will win the NFC East this year, then probably crash and burn in the playoffs like they usually do.

George has also never rushed behind as good an offensive line as the Cowboys. We're not as good up front as in years past, but good enough to add a yard to George's average.
Good point on the schedule, but we still get to play a handful of games against the NFC Least. The Redskins are the only real challenge I see there.

Did anybody improve enough to keep the WORLD CHAMPION NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS from repeating?
I think the Pats have taken a couple steps backwards, more than anyone gaining on them.
They finally have a running back (Corey Dillon) that can hit holes. A wide receiver corps so deep they will probably keep 6 on the roster. They let go an overpriced center/guard (Woody). The defensive line got a lot younger and faster. They were 6-1 without Ted Washington last year, so no irreversible impact there. The linebackers are getting old, but I expect them to pick up a couple of younger bodies by the end of camp. Defensive backfield still one of the best, and last year's 2 rookies will be ready for full time duty.
We still have TOM BRADY. *bowing*
