FREE MAC!!!
What an incredible surprise running into Mac AcAnally
at The Dollar Store!! Got your attention, haven't I ??
While waiting by the cash register, I looked down upon a small
box of CD's and to my amazement, there was the very first CD
that he has ever recorded!! What a buried treasure!! All brand
new, and only for a buck!!
Yesterday, at another Dollar Store, a 100 miles away from home,
I wondered if there would be any chance of finding more treasure!!
Good Karma and Blessings brought to me his 2nd. CD!!!
Both of them are wonderful and a PH "must have!"
They were all written by him, with the same story telling panache
that Buffett had in the 70's !! And the way he romances his guitar
is amazing!!
So, it's your turn... where have you found additional buried treasures,
of Buffett-stuff, etc??? Thriftstores, garage sales????
Where have you run into Mac or Jimmy or ?????????????

What luck...they were going for $15 outside of his show in Atlanta Saturday. I guess the plus is that he did sign mine for me after I bought it.
I have nver been lucky enough to find a bargain like that but I may hit the Dollar store the next time I am near one.

I ran into Steven Page (Barenaked Ladies) in the City Center Mall in Columbus and Eric Clapton just outside the Apple Store. I guess its not entirely impossible to run into Mac at the Dollar Tree.Gypsy In The Palace wrote:For a minute, I thought you had actually run into him at the $1.00 store. That would have been even more amazing!
(BTW, I swear I saw Elvis in Big Lots the other day, but I haven't shared that with too many people yet.)

I have no idea how "The Dollar Tree" got them, most likely
from the record company that recorded them... regardless, I am
going to check in all of the neighboring towns to see if I can
find more .... Please let me know if you find any of his others
there. I was amazed and happy!!
I am a pirate, 2 hundred years too late... and I wanted to
share my bounty. BTW.. on their site, they have a store locator.
I seriously want to know if anyone else found these anywhere.
I found my first on in Albany, OR and the second in Hood River, OR.

Hi Mason.. in front of everyone, I want to give you a big KISS !!
I am not lying about this. And they are NOT for sale!!
But, for you, my friend, will a bootleg work for you?
You are also a pirate.
My CD's are not bootleg.. real mccoy with liner notes, etc.
They sparkle.

Redneck, Please do check it out. I find this fascinating. If you've been to one "$1.00 tree store" , you have seen them all!! Mac just might be touring nationwide. Most likely that is the only way that we on the left coast will ever be able to see him.
Sail your Pirate Ship over to those thar waters!
Check it out, and then please post.
(no, this is not a publicity stunt.!!) I gotta get to work.

How Cool... had to go to The Dollar Tree a few minutes ago
and asked if they had anymore CD's.. and I found another
McAnally CD, this time his second to the last one....
how cool is this!!!
Hey, I don't make this stuff up. (now I have three,
all original~~even without that chainsaw cut on the side
of the plastic case)
I asked the lady at the counter where do they get their stuff
and she said it comes from other stores that are
"over stocked!!"
there's got to be other cool stories about finding
stuff at unusual places, tell me, I'm listening!
Go check it out!
