I remember when you could actually sack a quarterback.
I remember when football and baseball were played on real live grass.
I remember when there was no such term as encroachment. It was called offsides cause that's exactly what it was.
I remember when all baseball players batted for themselves no matter how bad they were.

As a kid in philly saw the Broad St. Bullies take the cup twice and went to the crazy parades afterwards.
Saw the Miracle US Olympic team get the gold.

I remember when you actually had to
PLAY football until the clock ran out. None of this snap the ball and kneel down crap like they do today.

I have no problem with limits on hitting the quarterback. The size and strength of the lineman nowadays puts a Q back at a distinct disadvantage. Got no problem with a clean hit mind you, but head slap or intentional R.I.P. hit should be outlawed and severely punished.

That was before there were 300+ lb lineman that can outrun a QB.
I remember when football and baseball were played on real live grass.
It still is in the best places.

Not by definition.

Dude you don't have to say it twice. In my mind the helmet to helmet hit is a legal hit though.
