I built mine out about 5 different pictures and a little (*very little*) artwork of my own.
As far as self made avatar's that I like is that one that looks like a men's room sign but it has a tropical hat, coconut bra, hula skirt and margarita

Mine is semi-homemade. I took the cover of A1A, erased the “Jimmy Buffett A-1-A” text, found the closest font to it and typed “Parrot Monkey A-1-A” and replaced it. Then I took a picture of me on Sunset Key from my KW vacation from late June and placed it over the pic of Jimmy. I think it turned out to be a fine album cover pun and a neat avatar, although the size constraint doesn’t really do it justice. You can find it in the original size in the PH Picture Gallery.

How strange! I see a jovial blue dolphin! Am I hallucinating again? Does this mean the guy I thought I saw sitting on my front porch swing strumming his six string last night wasn't really there either?

Yeah what's up with that? I changed to the energetic dolphin when my other avatar kept disappearing and all I could see was the ever creative red X. Do you know what causes that phjrsaunt?
