A democratic Buffett

Has Jimmy ever said why he supports the democratic movement so faithfully? The only thing I don't side with Buffett is the democratic preference. I am all for Bush in 2004. I think if Buffett was to run, I don't think he would be democratic. I think he would be a mixture of both, and so if he ran, I would vote for him eventhough I have a strong Republican pull. He wouldn't be an exteme democrat or extreme republican.

I think he mentions it in "A Pirate Looks at 50" His work with SAve the Manatee and his songs go against the grain of most republicans (i.e. Why don't we get drunk and screw)
