Forums are privately run and owned. You are invited by the operator to use his or hers site. Government has nothing to do with it unless you are using it for illegal activities. If this is not aggreable I can suggest writing to the politicians in your ward and try to change this. Not trying to stir the pot but posts like this does not improve or change the site's rules.

What you can do in America is start your own forum and post your opinion, (not slant) and run the site your way within legal limits.

Just wanted to clarify that. That's why George Michael can shut his site down. Whether that backfires or not is a different story. Which it did on him fan wise.
