Friends and neighbors
On LTC, Jimmy makes references to lots of his prior songtitles and lyrics. How's about a thread covering them all. After we're done we can tally the results and I can get a life.
All seriousness aside, a worthwhile scholarly endeavor, no?

I'll start with my favorite. At the end of Coastal Confessions, he says he stole some peanut butter. I'm sure none of the new fans will pick up on that for a while, so it's really an inside joke for all of us.

Maybe... Maybe Not...
But when I hear "Wakin' up in a foreign land" (Window On The World), I always think of "departure signs reminding me of the places I've been."

Only time will tell
If it was time well spent.
Obscure:
When I'm holding you tight, you give me the power
To burn like a torch in the darkest hour
Thank God the tiki bar is open, thank God the tiki torch still shines

Now: "From the bottom of my heart..."
Then: "I'm down on the knees of my heart...."

WARNING!!!
Slightly off-topic comment to follow...
The actual lyrics are:
There’s come a lot of Mondays
Since the phone booth that first night ...
Does anyone
else kinda wonder about the
story behind that???

Me too! I'm not awake enough yet to actively participate in this, but I sure am enjoying reading it!
