Okay, not the great vacation destination of all time, but I stumbled upon a cool "Buffett-esque" restaurant/bar this weekend. They had a nice variety of foods (chicken, beef, etc.) w/ entrees averaging around $10-15. Many varieties of hot sauce for the chicken wings, up to and including "Cancun," which should come with "XXX" written on the container! We had eight people in our group, and got EXCELLENT service.

If you've ever been in Charlottesville, you know where Pantops Shopping Center is. This place is located a couple doors down from the Food Lion. It's been called several different things over the years, but its current incarnation is:

THE LAZY PARROT

If you're headed up I-64 and can't make it to Richmond or Lynchburg without stopping for for and beer, I recommend it.

(Apropos of nothing...)
When in Charlottesville, be sure to try Hotcakes!
In addition to great dining onsite, they offer gourmet carry-out,
delicious baked goods, and the finest catering in the area.
