That's a good looking cat Zanth. Was he also "heinously" expensive?
you can't lay on the beach and drink rum all day if you don't start in the morning 8)

the best cat I ever had was a rescue from the local animal shelter. His name was Humphrey Bogart. Those who don't like cats, don't know cats.

He's very good looking Zanth!

I don't have a good digital pic of Diamonds, or I would post it.

No. He was a sire and when his "fun" time was done the beeder was looking for a home for him. I only paid $100. If you get them as kittens you're looking at anywhere from $600-$1200. I can put you in touch with a few breeders if you'd like.

Hey! Back to names for your cat-to-be...

How about Coast (or Coaster) for the Coast of Carolina?

Or Peter or Jim?
Or Tiki? How cute would that be for a cat name, and you'd always think of me!

I think (in) the shelter is the best place to pick one out from... my mom's xmas present is the perfect cat, and he was an 8 year old we got from the shelter.

I loved the name Tiki for a pet until I realized I knew 5 people whose pets are named that.

A guy I went out with had a cat that liked to get high as a kitten- it stunted its growth so that it was a large kitten on adult cat legs. It was freaky enough that I didn't go out with him again.

And we adopted one kitten from the humane society- it had feline leukemia and died in a week. Since then, we've just ended up with cats- one showed up on our back doorstep and we kept him, another one crawled into the engine compartment on dad's truck. Diamonds is the only cat I've ever paid for.
