JB Shirts for less

Post by LOVEandLUCK »

Jimmy Buffett shirts usually cost around 20 dollars right? Well, I have found a good number of his shirts for 3 dollars. And guess where! At the Salvation Army. It may sound strange that you could find them there but i have found at least 6 there during the past month! Maybe you should go look! I found the beach house on the moon tour shirt from 1999 and they don't sell those anymore anywhere!

They're usually $30-$40 at concerts.

The $20 shirts @ the concerts are sold in the parking lot. And ONLY when cops and security are NOT around

Maybe the shirts at the Salvation Army couldn't get a date.
But seriously, what happens to the left over shirts that don't get sold at the shows? What does Jimmy do with them?

Same here at Great Woods $10. When I was at Jones Beach in 02 my brother had one on that we had bought at Camden earlier that year and security came over to us in the parking lot and asked where we got the shirt. They were looking to arrest the guy.

I paid $5 at Alpine and Minneapolis. I just waited and said nope 2 for $10 and the guys bought it.
I also had tp buy one inside for my father who did me a huge favor by watching the Keets while I was out getting drunk and the boss was at work.

I've gotten a 1995 Domino College one to replace my worn out one as well as a 1998 tour shirt from Goodwill for $1.99 each - both looked almost brand new

Also bought one from a guy in the parking lot last year after the Alpine show in my drunken stupor for $5. The next morning I noticed the Buffett was spelled with only 1 T

I think they do this so they have less of a chance of getting arrested for copyright issues.

No, they do it because they have no idea who the guy is.

At Alpine there were Tiki Time Tour 03 shirts for only $25, compared to $32 for the LTC shirts.

Actually, the first tour I went to was the BBBB tour. Never bought a shirt. About 2 years ago, I found one in a used clothing store on State Street in Madison.

I got the parking lot tie-dye from this tour for $7 after the show. Were going for $25 before show, $12 after, and $7 after some negotiating. I've seen a few JB shirts in Goodwills around here.

Hey, if anybody is interested. . . I know someone who takes t-shirts and makes them into quilts. Could take those old JB concert T-shirts, pick out some parrothead fabric and mail them to her. She owns her own quilting business - - and is a really cool parrothead! here is her web site:

At least the S A uses the money for a good cause. I have been to 20+ concerts in my life. I went to AP, But I sold 2 for Tweeter. ( no raise at work, means less concerts) :(

I bought mine inside and paid $32 and $30 = $62 for 2 shirts. What a bargain :o
