besides Can I have an autograph?

you'd be surprised how hard it is to ask this question

all I could get out was "can I just shake your hand" - I even had a PHruitcakes in the Kitchen cookbook with me for the purpose of an autograph....I guess I thought a handshake was less of an imposition and/or invasion of his space than asking for an autograph
