I previously lived in Fort Lauderdale and had a friend that worked at Mai Kai. It is a pretty neat place but a bit pricey and hectic. Your best bet is to go to te bar part and have drinks and appetizers. The atmosphere is great and it is usually less crowded. Make sure and try the mint julip. It is great
