Buying stuff for new 'keet??

Got our first one on the way due in Dec. I've been checking out the kid stuff on the web and margaritaville and was wondering what does everyone recommend gettng? Any particular CD's, books or the like?

And if you mail them to Margaritaville Key West (I'd call first) and ask them to get JB to sign 'em they might be able to arrange it for you and mail 'em back to you in time for the delivery ~ they did this for a friend of mine last year before his first child was born

ok check this out. think....adaptibilty......in san jose, there is a discount pet food store that sells various other merchandise. one of those is a parott bib. i don't know if it is for birds or what, but seems worth looking into. so what day in december is your new sagitarian due?

I recomend buying Banana Wind if you do not already have it. My first 'keet (born in December 1999) loved this album when he was a baby and still does to this day. Whenever he would get fussy, we would put on the album and he would calm right down. Whenever my in-laws would watch him for us, they would always remind us to bring Buffett cd's with us, since the trick worked for them as well. My second 'keet (born this past March) loves LTC -- especially Coast of Carolina and Coastal Confessions. We have to do our best to raise good parrotheads!!

The Parakeet Album is a must. It's kids singing Buffett songs. It's great and kids love it.

I was able to track down a Margaritaville bib and blanket on the Margaritaville site. Made for a good picture with my keet wearing the bib, laying on the blanket, holding a stuffed parrot.
