I just checked ticketmaster and it looks as if the cheapest ticket this year is going to be $105. Start saving up now!

$105 plus all of ticketmasters fees is the cheap seat. Yikes! Good thing I get paid on Friday.

I'm guessing that this is an error on the Ticketmaster website and that there will be cheap seats there by Saturday. The press release from the MGM that I posted yesterday had them and 3 levels of pricing is the norm for them. The problem with the MGM is that they are much different than most venues....they make their money elsewhere and the shows are an afterthought (whereas most venues primary business is the concerts themselves). Due to this...shows are often listed late (as happened here) and errors do occur from time to time (which I'm guessing is taking place here). If anyone really had their heart set on the cheap seats...you could probably give the MGM box office a call and get an answer now....however, I'll be surprised if they aren't listed up there by Saturday morning at 10am.

The TM website is now listing a price range of US $68.25 - US $210.00 for the Vegas shows.

The seating chart for the Vegas shows is also available now available on the TM site. Looks like there will be tonnes of cheap seats (if you consider US $68.25 plus fees cheap, that is).

I wouldn't be surpirsed to see this change as well...if it doesn't there will be some sweat $100 level tickets...I think its too good to be true, but if not it will be quite a change from the last 4 years.

The colors on that seating chart only designate floor, first level, and upper level....they do not correspond to pricing at all. This same seating chart would be used on Ticketmaster for a show where all tickets are the same cost.

If they post it by Saturday (and don't count on it), the MGM will be the only site showing a diagram with actual prices of each section. I posted maps of this for the Phil Collins and Sting shows in another thread and you can expect something similar.

FYI......here's the actual floorplan for Sting...

If you had checked before the on-sale for this show, the same seating chart would have been posted on Ticketmaster.

I would expect something very similar for Jimmy...if not worse. :(

Trust me, there will be no cheap seats near the stage at all. The MGM has us (parrot heads) over a barrel and they know it. You will come to see when you have realized that the beers have for some reason gone up to $7.50 that weekend (and dont tell me they always are because they are not) as well as the price of everything else. I have not missed a Vegas show in 10 years, and have seen them put the screws to us each year more and more...
By the way, I will see you at both shows...
