What's the big deal if he does? Politics and political groups are just like cults, people follow for a reason.....I am not saying that Democrats or Republicans are as cool as we Parrotheads, considering they only meet every 4 years for a party......

I think there's a lot of folks who don't want Bush as their next president (in fact, there were 50% who didn't want him this time

) but fortunately most folks are able to explain their reasons why a little more eloquently.

It's a shame that in a political system built on the notion that discussion and debate are good that so few people are capable of expressing their views in a constructive way.

It would appear that we have lost sight that music has universal appeal from all walks of life. W may very well like Jimmy's music or he may not, no big deal. Would it make you unhappy if you found out the President was a Buffett fan? A NASCAR fan? Football fan? Baseball Fan? What are the accepted Presidental guidelines for being able to be a fan of somebody or something? Clinton was a fan of everything, was that questioned or was that simply ok. Lets move on.

I don't see Bush being a music fan in general. I don't mean that as political or personal attack. He just doesn't seem like a music lover to me. I could be, and probably am wrong about this.

While attending a Corporate meeting once, we were asked to intoduce ourself to the group by sharing something unique, when I got up to speak, I said, well I'm a PH, confirmed Parrot Head, I have attended 16 Buffett concerts, have all of his CD's and hope to attend many more. I'm standing there, coat, tie, the whole corporate look, not in flip flops. The comments later were, I would have never guessed you were a Buffett fan. How did that come about? How long? Get the picture. Sometimes you don't know.
