Bob is the Director of Memberships for the PHIP (Parrot Heads in Paradise) - he would just be canvassing for interest in joining your local club.

I got one a few months ago, which struck me as really odd since I've been a club member since 2002.

I got one a couple months ago as well. I think they may just send it out to some BNers that have recently become more active. In your case, the Vegas thread might have set it off.

I've never gotten one.

Don't worry, I replied when I got mine. They sent back the contact information for the Atlanta PH Club. Unfortunately, its on the other side of Atlanta.

I don't live in a suburb... I live up near the NHVT border

I get the emails from Bob that people respond to that live in Australia wanting to join a club.

Bob does A GREAT job in recruiting for the clubs! He spends a lot of his time and is really focussed on his role as director of Memberships!
