I need to head to St. Somewhere...
We sailed from the port of indecision
Young and wild with oh so much to learn
Days turn into years as we tried to fool our fears, But to the port of indecision I returned.

Family has an island off the coast of British Columbia, Canada. A few miles of private paradise, only thing missing is the weather it’s OK in the summer but nasty in the winter.

This is kind of mundane compared to the other exotic places mentioned but I'll vote for Huck's Cove in Pascagoula, MS. Lovely atmosphere literally in a tiny cove accessible by water or land. Plus they're all parrotheads.
I belong in the past, I was not meant to last, and I hope I get there one day!

Sandy Cay, BVI

Foxy's, Great Harbour, Jost Van Dyke, BVI

Congo and Lovango Cays, USVI

But my OPH, which used to be a St. Somewhere until it was "discovered" by the masses, is Seabrook Island, SC, though I must say that The Anglers Club, Key Largo, FL is a very close second.

Destin, Florida is my current "St. Somewhere", although Moorea, Bora Bora and Turtle Island are also amazing --- The water is so emerald green in Destin and the sand is snow white and soft as powder. There is this overall BUFFETT VIBE in the air -- it's awesome!! :D I wrote a travel journal about a recent trip there. It is posted at http://www.igougo.com. If you'd like to read it, just type in TRAVLGRRL and click member search. Bahia Honda State Park down in the Keys is also breathtaking!

St. Somewhere ...
in summer, our cottage on a small, not-too-busy lake north of Kingston, Ont.
in summer, as well, Bayfield, on the eastern shore of Lake Huron, where the sunsets are the best in the world
for winter, I'd have to agree with the French Alps: there is NOTHING like them. So wonderful I even learned to downhill ski at the age of 45 just to be there!
January on the beach at Biloxi was very calm and above freezing, which is important to snowbirds.
tropical St Somewheres:
Playa del Carmen, Mexico: come on now, I know there are other Playa fans on this board and lots of Parrotheads who love Playa....
Shh, don't tell anyone, but my very favourite is Charlotteville, Tobago, where I fantasize about retiring and writing a book.

Bonaire Netherland Antilles........... Just an incredible island. Very friendly natives-fantastic scuba diving- beautiful national park to explore. Donkeys roam the streets at will. You truely live on island time there.
