But what if you're like me and don't have a conscience?
dont vote! :)
If you don't vote, do you have a right to complain? or at least grounds to complain?

I've never missed an election since I became eligible to vote. I'm from NY, complaining is in my genes.

Sorry to dig this up but I couldn't resist. Jimmy isn't getting into politics. He's been into politics for a long time. Here's proof if you need it

Why not? He is an influential person and very recognizable to his fans and others. He also is an artist who crosses boundaries, what I mean by that is everybody likes him, you find people of all political beliefs listening to him and going to his concerts. I have to aks, why do people call themselves a Democrat or a Republican? It is my belief that I would vote for the guy who is going to do the best job regardless of the party that he belongs to, that is called using your head and thinking for yourself.

One of the definitions of politics in the dictionary is: "the total complex of relations between people living in society"

According to this definition we are all involved in politics in some way or another. We all try to influence those relations in one way or another. Everyone on this board is involved in "the total complex of relations between people living in society."

Therefore, we should not question a person's right to express their opinion. If you feel the need, express your opinions, but don't denigrate any one else for expressing their opinion.

He does because he cares about what happens. He's not just off with his head in the sand spending his $ like so many entertainers. I would rather meet someone passionate than apathetic any day. Lyrics like his don't come from apathy!

That's why "thinning the herd" from time to time is good management.
