This is what the Coors Amphitheatre site says about tailgaiting in general....which doesn't sound as harsh as TM.....
tailgating policy
Patrons are allowed to tailgate in the Coors Amphitheatre parking lot prior to events as long as they remain in their single parking space. Hot coal containers are provided for patrons who cook as well as trash cans for refuse. The city of Chula Vista enforces a city ordinance in the parking lot which prohibits open alcoholic beverage containers.
I found this to be a bit strange......not only is the Far side album cover being displayed next to his name on the home page but also this when you go into the event details.....

This has been posted every year. Trust me...the party will be raging from all corners of the CA parking lot. Last year a group of San Diego's finest were taligating directly under one of those signs posted in the lot. The SDPD party was one of the wildest and nudest (is that a word

So I'm looking into places to stay......where is the BN crowd going to be? I've been looking at the Holiday Inn Express/Chula Vista, the Best Western/Chula Vista Inn and the Seacoast Inn/Imperial Beach. I'm liking the Seacoast Inn because it's right on the beach and not too far from the show (about 10 miles). I don't think any of these places are too fancy but they're reasonably priced. Does anyone here from that area have any opinions of those places or any other suggestions? Thanks!!

Hey All! Please count me in on this list thingy. I may or may not be riding solo on this trip to SD...taking wifey to Vegas on the 16th, dropping her off before heading south 'cause she has to w$#k...then heading back to Vegas with the buds for the 23rd show! Depending on who all has to w$#k during that week, I will prolly be by my lonesome for the big 'Vista! if that's the case, I can prolly pick you and your friend up, MA_Buffett_Fan! As it gets a little closer, the details will be clear up a bit.
Dang, I'm looking forward to that week!!!!

BTW, what do you think of this:
I would like to find a way to petition HEAVILY to get Jimmy to play the HALF-TIME SHOW at the next SUPERBOWL! After last year's fiasco, they should WELCOME someone who is reputable and without reproach. After all, Jimmy also has kids and I believe would be sensitive to the problems and repercussions that last year's show has caused. SO!!! Anyone have any ideas how we could get this accomplished?
One more thing I'd like to see, Jimmy and Sammy Hagar!
Mr Margaritaville and Mr Cabo Wabo! I think THAT would be a GREAT show AND a GREAT album!!!!!!!!!!!

has anyone heard from REDWINEMAKER or JEEPGIRL? It would be a good thing to finally meet them?
Unless we can find another way to the lot we won't get there until 6-6:30 that night....
