Wrigley Field is falling down, falling down
So, there might not be a game in Wrigley tonight because big chunks of concrete are falling from the roof? Did anyone else hear this on the news this morning?

That is certainly what everyone expects, but unless you have a source that I don't, no official word has been made public yet though the announcement was expected 30 minutes ago. But there should be a game with a big crowd tonight!weirdo0521 wrote:They have received the green light from the Building Commissioner....PLAY BALL.. i am a huge Cubs fan, but i do think that management has been arrogant in their handling of all of this. They are lucky that none of those 3 chunks hit anyone or there would be a lawsuit.
With 40,000 standing room only fans at every game, the mayor is right to insist that this all be done properly. I have been there 3 times this season with 3 more to go (including Friday) and I want to make sure that it is safe.

Just announced on the news.
Game on
The city found no evidence of bad repairs. However Wrigley Field will be monitored till the end of the season and repairs will be made when necessary. However, Wrigley Field has to make perminante repairs before next season because they won't let them play with the safety nets next season.

Searching is half the fun: life is much more manageable when thought of as a scavenger hunt as opposed to a surprise party.
