I just got this email from a friend at Boston Tea Party Concerts (Clear Channel)

BOSTON (September 8, 2004) - Production has just released a limited
number of seats for both the Friday, September 10th and Sunday,
September 12th Jimmy Buffett shows at Fenway Park.

Tickets are available at all Ticketmaster outlets, through
Ticketmaster.com or by calling (617) 228-6000.

Also, I went for an extra long run yesterday and swung around Fenway, they had Landsdowne closed off and were setting up the stage. I was able to get a good view from the North side of the stadium and spoke to a couple of the riggers but they said no one from Buffetts management had arrived yet.

I was able to score 3 in Row 12 Section A4, thats directly in front of the stage on the field. I spoke to my contact at Clear Channel and she said they finalized the layout of the stage and had some more seats than expected hence the release. She also said they will be releasing some more (as they do for all shows) once they find out who is and isn't coming (the big wigs).

I JUST GOT TICKETS IN SECTION A1-ROW 4,LOOKING AT THE SEATING DIAGRAM IT'S OFF TO THE LEFT.IF IT'S A OPEN STAGE THEY SHOULD BE GOOD.BUT IF THERE ARE SPEAKER TOWERS AND JUMBOTRONS , THEY COULD BE OBSTRUCTED.TRYING TO FIGURE THE LAYOUT.IF ANYONE COULD ENLIGHTEN ME IT WOULD BE MUCH APPRECIATED.

I can't say I'm positive, but judging from what I saw last night, you should be fine. They obviously didn't have any speakers, jumbotrons, etc up yet, but they had most of the rigging up. You may have a support beam in front of you, but I wouldn't go as far as saying it's obstructed view, you should be fine. Section A4 looks like it is set back far enough you will have a good view.

We have 2 extras right now in Section 20, Row 8 (behind home plate) for face value ($85 each).

Flying in from Philly, getting in at about 5:20. Will make a quick run on the T to Fenway. Staying at the HoJos. We are meeting friends at the Corona party. I can't wait!!! This is tomorrow!!!!

Hi all,
Is anyone else up in the 406 club tomorrow night? We snagged some last minute tix yesterday afternoon, already going Sunday so this was an unexpected bonus! Not so happy about being behind the glass but being at the show beats not being there and I figure if there's enough fun people up there it will be a good time.

I'll be there but i'll be on the field... If you can get rid of those tickets I'd advise it... you won't be able to hear the show that well and your the furtherst away from the stage... Did TM not have any left in the turffield area???

Okay... so for those of you hoping to hear the sound check friday afternoon before the concert, you will be a bit disappointed, as they did their sound check today (thurs). I live in Kenmore Square and was thrilled today when I heard the music... I could discern LTC, but I wasn't sure of the other songs as it was a bit muddy from my distance. Look for me when you come out of the Kenmore Square T... I'm the Tiki Bar balcony in the tall apartment building infront of you!
