My ride can't get out of work either, but I'm getting dropped off at his office in Cambridge and we're going in from Alewife. Hoping to hit the Tiki Room, although he's babbling something about Bill's Bar.

Wow...that's really low... If I were someone's boss, and I was told that they somehow acquired tickets to an event (won or otherwise) at the last minute, I'd let them go... I might make them come in at 7AM to make sure stuff got done, but I'd be flexible enough to make it work for both of us... that really stinks!!!!
And what became of sweet Melissa.... ??? Image

It's not that her boss denied it. She is a teacher and had things planned for today that she didn't want to hand off to a sub. She was very surprised when I came up with the tix and didn't have time to rearrange her schedule.

In that case, she's very much respected by me.... I've always wanted to be a teacher... i still have time... but I need to get my act together and go back to school....
