Will MGM have Vegas pre-function this year?
For those of us who have seen Jimmy in Vegas over the years we just assume the pre-function will be at the old MGM theme park. I 've read, though, that construction has started on the condo project (The Residences at the Grand) and the first of six towers is going up on the northeast end of the MGM property. I still haven't heard if this will spell the end of that long-standing tradition. Has anybody got the inside scoop? Will it be at the Flamingo this year maybe... and then we all jump the new monorail to the show??
There's wind in our hair
And there's water in our shoes
It's been a lovely cruise.

I spoke with a Corona contact today that mentioned the MGM is doing something again and it will be in a smaller section of the theme park (a portion not tore up yet).
However, it sounds like the best party will be at Margaritaville.....there's an alley which runs between the Flamingo and O'Sheas and they are going to have a big street festival out there before both shows. They've already secured the permits necessary to block it off and it sounds like a very cool event!

Hell stay at O'sheas and get Yards of Guinness for the party.
