I don't agree with everything environmentals or PETA, Greenpeace do but they aren't representative of everyone either. Somewhere along the line the topic of saving the environment got designated a liberal cause when it's a nonpartisan issue and shouldn't enter into party politicals at all.
I'M CERTAINLY NO LIBERAL.JUST ONE OF THOSE EVIL OUTDOORSMAN WHO HUNTS,FISHES AND SNOWMOBILES.YOU KNOW,DESTROYING THE ENVIRONMENT IN THE PROCESS.

Good grief, I return from Florida and we somehow created a debate between politics and Johnny Cash. I am a HUGE Cash fan, but I am going to opt to not comment on this issue.
I'm back to livin' Floridays

I wonder if these guys know that Cash was known for being a very gracious and humble individual, who loved and was loved by people all over the political spectrum.

Whatever they may think of our politics, Johnny Cash made his music for everyone and I believe that he would simply be honored to be remembered, even if it is by us evil Republicans.

I wonder if they ever heard his song, "The One on the Right", which parodies this very thing? As John R. said in that very song,

Now this should be a lesson if you plan to start a folk group
Don't go mixin' politics with the folk songs of our land
Just work on harmony and diction
Play your banjo well
And if you have political convictions keep them to yourself

AMEN, MIKE!!!

Also, is there any chance tommcat can become either President of the United States or Chief Justice of the Supreme Court.
I DO NOT plan to start a folk group, so I can sing his praises-
It's nice to know there is ANOTHER voice of reason somewhere in this world. (Thanks, T.C.)
I never understood the rent-a-mob/professional protesters either. All they do is go around stinking up the place carrying their stupid signs, and frankly, I really don't give a damn what they have to say.

TC:
If they ever get in your face, pull out a bar of soap.
They'll scatter quicker than Ted Kennedy going for his wallet when he hears "LAST CALL."
