not much of a bar scene at all on the whole island, so do as we did, buy a litre of good local 5yr old rum for $4 and enjoy it on your hotel balcony. There is a great little beach bar in cruz bay. Go to the ferry dock and walk left on the beach (not sure if it's north or south, but just go left) a couple of hunberd yeard you'll see some PCV tables on the beach and hear jazz music, then your there. We found this the last night we were there and the sunsets are great, with the "Lights of St Thomas twenty miles west, glad to see General Electric is still doing their best" (really only about 4 miles but it still works). The next time we go back I'll be there every sunset. After that head over to The Fish Trap for dinner, great food.

Oh, it just came back to me (must be too many boat drinks), the landmark is a big Jolly Roger Happy Face.
