Did Anyone See Springsteen at Fenway?

I'm curious how the sound was. :-? The announcements during games echo quite a bit.

A friend of mine went to both shows he said the first show wasn't to good but they learned from their mistakes and the second show sounded great.

I would think that they will get it right both nights, after messing it up for Bruce

I was there for the 2nd show and I thought the sound was terrible---I'm sorry to hear that it was an improvement over the first one! We were kinda off to the side of the stage so maybe that made a difference.

I'm hoping they've learnt from their mistakes and the acoustics for this weekend will be better.

I would bet that Jimmy and Bruce each have the own production company providing sound for their concerts. Since Fenway is not usually used for concerts they will have to do a setup for concerts and probably have to set up a system that is seperate from the Fenway house system. I used to work for a sound and light company part time and what sounded good during sound checks with an empty place did not always sound as good when it was full of people. Hopefully it sounds good.
