I wonder if the moderator chosing to lock a thread might
offer an explanation in a final post so that the rest of us
will gain an understanding of why the thread was ended.
(Since they may want to do so anonymously, perhaps
there is a "unspecified moderator" profile they could use
so the rest of us won't be singling out someone to resent.)

I didn't mean to imply that. We should all understand that phjim is a
benevolent despot (my favorite kind of ruler, btw) and his minions
are charged with keeping things under some reasonable control. I
have no problem with that. If I did I wouldn't bother to come here.
But in the interest of keeping we children in line, we need to know
what we've done wrong so we can avoid repeating our mistakes.
Kids who just get slapped with no explanation can't learn...

I just want to say that I did not start the thread to p*** any of the moderators off or to see how long it would go. I was just asking how many others feel the same as I do.

This is the first time I have ever had a thread locked.

Most of us have vague suspicions as to why the two boys were kicked off this playground ..... but by this thread it is obvious that many of us don't understand about the 'Killer' thread locking. We are the kids on the playground looking at each other wondering why our ball was taken away ....

And mikess ....... like I mentioned on the 'Killer' thread ....... this makes you one of the few!!
