Songs not on Cd's

Post by SchoonerWharf »

You Can't Always Get What You Want" Rolling Stones cover.

I could be wrong on this. It's the only one I could think of that hadn't been mentioned yet.

I was stunned when he broke this out during the infamous 1993 Buckeye Lake Concert. Ironically I was just listening to my copy of it last night. I could add "Here Comes The Sun", a tribute to George Harrison, that Jimmy did right after Harrison died. This was at the 2002 Greensboro or Charlotte show I think. I have it somewhere...lol.

This is great stuff....

One thing...I'm looking more for songs he has recorded, not just played live once or twice. I myself have seen him cover "Sweet Home Chicago" and others, but wouldn't included it as a Buffett song.

He also did some Miller commercials quite a few years back.

I'd love to see another box set that included some of these rarities and am surprised the first one didn't. I'd much rather hear some of this stuff than the unreleased tracks that made the box set.

Abandoned on Tuesday, Don't Bring Me Candy, Please Take... , Train to Dixieland, Turning Around etc.

So many goodies that cry for a good mastering job.

The spanish version of "Margaritaville" from the Margaritaville Tequila cd
"Tequila" from the same cd... was that the CRB?

Wonder what will be on the "Salty Piece of Land" cd?

Which is what "Southern Cross", one of the examples given to begin with by CaptainP, is!
