Final Fenway Wrap-up

Why not one more fenway thread?

Both Fenway shows were great. I don't know if it is because I tailgated the week prior at Jones Beach but I didn't miss tailgating at all. There was so much going on all over Landsdown Street. We had outside tables at the Tiki Room filled both days the weather was perfect both days. On Sunday and Ambulance would randomly stop out front and play Margaretville from it's megaphone, each EMT had lei's on. The people who didn’t go out of spite missed one hell of a party, I only wish he did a 3rd show. Friday’s show was good but I think Sunday’s was better despite losing 2 hours of prepartying. Buffett took the stage Sunday around 6:20 with the sun starting to set with his black sun glasses on. For my taste I liked the set list Sunday better than Friday I also had better seats for Sunday. As far as the lack of tailgating, sometimes it is nice to go to a Buffett show and only have to worry about bringing yourself and some money. I don’t think I could have had a better time at great woods than I had this weekend. Tonight it is back to Fenway for me for the Red Sox, something tells me the pregame party may start a little later and be a little tamer……

We had a blast! So glad we didn't skip it. Tailgate or no tailgate, you aren't keeping us from Jimmy. So yes, I believe it was a huge success and a show we can all talk about for years to come. Being on the field at Fenway was such a cool bonus too!

Not nice Larry. I wish I would've gone, but oh well. I got an email from my Boston co-worker (who's a ton of fun, but anti-parrothead). This was his comment about the shows:

He was out this way for a couple shows...My Fiance and a friend of ours went to the show...they said it was a lot of fun...They didn't drink or do any other drugs...I was curious how it could have been fun watching a 75-year-old, self-proclaimed pirate sober??? But I'm a shade different...
