Anyone watch it? I found it a very moving and powerful piece on the role baseball played in uplifting the spirits of New Yorkers and Americans after 9/11. What amazing baseball... what amazing comebacks... I'm glad they preserved it in the form of the documentary.

I missed it. I can't wait to see it though. What an incredibly moving time that was. Such an emotional rollercoaster on and off the field.

I think it's on HBO so it should be on about 50 or 60 more times.

I don't get HBO either, but I can't watch anything about September 11 anyway. When something comes on TV about it I either change the channel or leave the room.

Better! Went to the doctors last night... right is a grade one sprain, left is a grade 2...

I had the good fortune to attend all 4 World Series games here in Arizona and one game at Yankee Stadium.
After watching President Bush throw a stike over the plate in the cathedral that is Yankee Stadium I somehow knew that all would be well in our nation and that we would find a way to heal the wounds of 9-11.
Baseball was never better in its responsibility as our national pastime than it was during that series. The HBO special is a must watch for every american...sports fan or not.

It was a very powerful piece. Really reminded me of the feelings of the time and allowed me to compare to today and how much so many people have forgotten what those days were like.
