Now that you mention it......I got shut out on my first try too.....but then again I didn't grasp the concept of JB tickets being
SCARCE until the day of the show !!!
P.S. Keep it under control and please don't make any headlines this Saturday MSU !!

My first show was in the mid 90's. I was there the moment the tix went on sale but still didn't get any. It was the Chicago show ... I kept trying back and finally was able to get some tix.

Haven't missed a show that I tried for since and have never bought from a scalper. Visiting BN makes a difference too ..

.. lots of tips to be found.

I had no problem getting tickets to my first show (August of '96) in Camden. My friend just walked up to a local ticketmaster outlet the day tix went on sale and bought 4 lawn seats for us. This year was the first year I have ever been shut out since then. I went the ebay route and went to Camden and Jones Beach this summer. Both concerts were well worth the slight mark-up I paid on ebay (~$75 for ~$50 seats for both shows).

Camden was a great show this year ....

Someone else got the tickets this time. First time I was other than Chicago or Detroit.

The problem is not getting the tickets, it's getting Bubba to play in Michigan. I know that DTE show sold out last year before it went on sale, but there is always e-bay. It just depends on how bad you want to go.

My first concert was 1987, and of course, had no idea about the parrothead thing.
I went directly to the venue two weeks before the concert, and got four lawn tickets for $15.00 apiece.
I was too cheap to pay the $25.00 price for pavillion tickets.

Was there an additional concert at the Palace or Joe Loius that summer? I have my stub from Pine Knob somewhere (it was my de-phlowering show) and I would swear it's for July 3rd....Radio Margaritaville says the show was July 27th?

Well I guess having recently made the move, I should post here. First of all MI pholks, I am a Buckeye phan and that WILL NOT change.
I just moved to Grand Blanc, I work in Flint and in Livonia.
Are we holding out hope for a winter concert at the Palace?
I went to my first show by accident a phriend called about 2 hours before she was leaving saying she had an extra ticket to Jimmy Buffett, I said alright, I was up for something new. That was in Summer 94 at Pine knob. 18 shows later.........here I am.
