How many CDs do you buy a year?
I'd say a buy probably 20-30 albums a year

I'd have to say this year i've been on "overload" on buying cd's.....

to many great ones have come out

At least 20-30. I am kind of a cd junky. Can't get enough music.

I never used to buy many CDs, but now that music has become a bigger part of my life, I have started to buy more

I tend to buy them in streaks-none for months and then I go to a store and buy 5 at once!

Sometimes I think too damn many but I do listen to them all. Last year our local Turtle's went out of business and kept marking down CDs until the lowest price was less than $4 a CD. Needless to say, I racked up right up until they shut the doors for good. The best find I made was the limited edition Beatles box set that comes in a roll top case. I spotted it once in a Turtle's in Hotlanta and was a-feared I'd never find another copy again.

According to the poll I'm the only one in the 50-100 category. I am always buying CDs. I never burn them. The most I've bought in a day was 12. I love music and am always looking for something new. I've tried to control myself recently. I havent bought a CD in a a little over a month now. Although I may go buy Alan Jackson's new CD one of these days.

Depends on how many Jimmy Buffett, Jim Morris, Sunny JIm White, and Lee Totten put out

Depends on who is issuing albums, and what I need to fill in the collection. Went thru a streak where I was hunting the "A Celebration of the Blues" collection at Best Buy for about a month and a half.. there were 18 in a short span.

I chose the 30-50 option also, but now that I think about it, 50 is less than 1 per week on average, so I probably clicked a category lower than is correct, too! (I can't tell you the number of times I've been to Newbury Comics and reloaded my 6CD changer with new purchases before I leave to parking lot)

I prefer to pirate my music off of the internet.

I own 100's of CDs, but don't add much to the collection these days. Maybe 15 per year now. Used to average at least one per week or more.

Same here, I used to by a lot, especially when I worked for Best Buy in college. But now I have kids to pay for.

The one exception way the wedding, I used it as an excuse to replace the Buffett CD's which I had that had been scratched, stolen or lost over the years. It was great!!

I own a little over 400 CDs but I've really dropped off buying since I finished my own. I dont know why though.

I'm still buying between 3 and 4 a week everyweek, not counting those that I give away as gifts. I'm rapidly running out of shelves to put them on.

I don't buy too many anymore unless I really want the album..... Through the internet, I reserve any cd/dvd/video from my local public library. If they do not have it, they get it from another library and then I just copy it....... My tax dollars at work......
