Oktoberfest

Oktoberfest started today, anyone here ever been? I hear its crazy.

It's a lot of fun assuming you like to drink lighter then usual beer. The local brewers turn out a special beer for Oktoberfest, it runs about 3.2 instead of the usual 5 to 8%. It can get a little crazy depending on who you know and what parties you end up at.

My son, a junior in college studying in London this year just got back from a weekend in Munich for the kickoff of Oktoberfest....
Oh to be 20 years old again! He had an absolute blast and judging from the pictures on his web site, so did the other 30,000 people at the Munich Fair Grounds, the official headquarters of Oktoberfest...
He tells me he listened to a few Buffett on his Ipod while crusing around drinking beer and eating German Sausage and Schnitzel...I have taught the young man well...!!!

At work, we just finished weekend one of two of our Oktoberfest sponsored by Warsteiner Bier! Sure is tiring but a lotta fun! I am in charge of the giveaways.
