Talk of Possible arena shows on the Radio

Today on WPLR in CT. There was a brief disscussion that because of the Hockey Lockout arena promoters are pushing to book Jimmy in the fall/winter. I'm sure there are other acts but JB's name was the only one mentioned. Shockingly they said they couldn't be specific but a Connecticut date was in the works...granted we don't have a Hockey team anymore but.... If you are within the New Haven area WPLR broadcast a Concert talk show every Thursday at 5:00...let's see what's up.

Jimmy hasn't played Nassau Coliseum since about 1998 and it's been 3 years since he played Madison Square Garden. He could even make it a hat trick and play Continental Airlines Arena. Three shows in the NY area in one week. The band wouldn't even have to travel except between the hotel and the venue. If he did that I might even make the trip to {{{shudder}}} New Jersey.

He should play Rupp Arena.

He should play Rupp Arena in Lexington. He played there back in the late 70's it would be awesome. He would sell out to 30,000 in no time.

Heyheyhey....you in the northeast part of the country have had SIX concerts to choose from. We here in the heartland have had none....maybe two, if you stretch a plastic map sideways. Can't we have ONE, pleasepleaseplease? I'll make ya a deal, you can have four concerts in hockey arenas, if we can have just ONE? 8)

Personally, I would like to find a way to pettition HEAVILY to get Jimmy to play the HALF-TIME SHOW at the next SUPERBOWL! After last year's fiasco, they should WELCOME someone woh is reputable and without reproach. After all, Jimmy also has kids and I believe would be sensitive to the problems that the year's show has caused. SO!!! Anyone have any ideas how we could get this accomplished?

One more thing I'd like to see, Jimmy and Sammy Hagar!
Mr Margaritaville and Mr Cabo Wabo! I think THAT would be a GREAT show AND a GREAT album!!!!!!!!!!!

Please respond!

If Buffett comes to Connecticut, I bet it's at Mohegan Sun, the Hartford Civic Center has Wolfpack AHL hockey, UConn Men and UConn Women's hoops to keep it booked through the winter.
